PEEKSKILL, N.Y -- Just in time for Halloween, tweens and teens are invited to learn how to write their own scary story at the Peekskill Field Library on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 3:30 p.m.

Local author Nora Mulligan will host a workshop at the library. All supplies are included free of charge. For middle and high school age students.

This event is provided by a grant from the H.O.P.E. For Youth Foundation, supporting Hudson Valley youth programs that foster healthy growth and positive achievement.

The Field Library is at 4 Nelson Ave., Peekskill.
