Friday, May 17

Tales for Tots: 3 p.m. A story time for young children. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave, Peekskill.

The Frank Kohl Quartet: 7:30 p.m. Guitarist Frank Kohl was a member of Don McCaslin's Jazz/Salsa band, Warmth. In 1990, he moved to Seattle where he lives and performs today. His new CD, Coast to Coast, The Frank Kohl Quartet includes pianist and brother Tom. Admission is $10. BeanRunner Café, 201 S. Division St. Peekskill.

Songs in the Attic: A Tribute to Billy Joel: 9:30 p.m. Conceived by Long Island veteran singer/piano player David Clarkin 2011, the show features a tremendous amount of detail and affection for the material. Admission is a $15 entertainment fee or $7 with a dinner reservations and purchase of an entree. 12 Grapes, 12 N. Division St., Peekskill.

Saturday, May 18

Kaplan Free PSAT Practice Test: 10 a.m. Get test results and feedback via email and telephone consult with Kaplan staff for teens grade 6 – 12. Hendrick Hudson Free Library, 185 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose.

Open House at Little Learners:  9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Come learn about the programs at the preschool facility. Parkside Corner Shopping Center, 3565 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor.

Saturday Crafts: 11 a.m. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave, Peekskill.

Ray Blue Quartet: 7:30 p.m. Ray has performed with Steve Turre, Eddie Henderson, Gary Bartz, T.K. Blue, Bob Gaddy, Wycliff Gordon and Benny Powell. He plays with The Spirit of Life Ensemble and tours with The Ray Charles Show. Admission is $10. BeanRunner Café, 201 S. Division St. Peekskill.

The Chris O'Leary Band: 9:30 p.m.  Just back from the Harvest Time Blues Festival in Ireland, the band was also winner at the 2011 Blues Blast Awards and finalists at the 32nd Annual Blues Music Awards. Admission is a $10 entertainment fee or $5 with dinner entrée. 12 Grapes, 12 N. Division St., Peekskill.

Sunday, May 19

Croton Free Library Book and Bake Sale: 1-5 p.m. Browse lots of books and baked goods all day long. Croton Free Library, 171 Cleveland Dr., Croton-on-Hudson.

The Legendary Delfonics Review: 5 p.m., 7:30 p.m. Greg Hill, a member of "Wil Harts" original Delfonics for over 15 years, brings the very best of this Grammy Award winning group to the BeanRunner Café with his legendary Delfonics Revue. Performing hits like "Didn't I Blow Your Mind", "La La Means I Love You". There will be two shows: 5-6:30 p.m. and another at 7:30-9 p.m. Admission is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. BeanRunner Café, 201 S. Division St. Peekskill.

Greg Westhoff's Westchester Swing Band: 5:30 p.m. The band performs classic swing music, Sinatra, Broadway selections and songs from the '40's, '50's and more. Admission is a $5 cover or higher donation goes directly to the band. 12 Grapes,12 N. Division St., Peekskill.
