PEEKSKILL, N.Y. New Year's Eve is right around the corner and several city establishments will be holding special events
12 Grapes will present Duchess Di & the Distractions, an eight-piece 1940s themed band playing a unique style of "Risque" Blues, Swing & Jump, and American roots music like rockabilly and early Rock & Roll from the 40s and 50s. This 8:30 p.m. dinner and show is $95 per person (plus tax & tip) and includes a three-course prix fixe menu, three hours of live music and dancing, a Prosecco toast and our "12 Grapes at Midnight" tradition. Reservations required.
The Beanrunner Café will celebrate New Year's Eve with the band Jamaikit Funky, who will bring an old-school R&B fest starting at 8 p.m. Then DJ Ted B will entertain until the wee hours of the morning, spinning a mix of Roots, Rock, Reggae & Soca. Caribbean buffet and complimentary glass of champagne are included. Admission is $50 per person.
The Cove will hold a New Year's Eve Party featuring the band Pumping Ethel starting at 9 p.m. There will be dinner specials, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. Admission is free.
Nellies Café will hold a family-friendly New Year's Eve Party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. DJ Ezy Erv will be spinning tunes in the main dining room and karaoke will be available in private spaces. Cover comes with light hors d'oeuvres for everyone. Adults will have all you can drink beer and wine. Kids will get a scoop and soda. The party will continue after 1 a.m. Cover is $30 for adults and $10 for kids.
The Peekskill Brewery will be holding a New Year's Eve 90s Party with D.J. Anthony L. starting at 10 p.m. in the dining room. Come dressed up and dance to your favorite 90s tunes. Admission is free.
