The festival in downtown Peekskill that drew thousands of people last year will start at 8 p.m. on July 26 and at noon on July 27, according to a news release from the city.
"The Festival has become one of the Hudson Valley’s premier summer musical and creative events, drawing thousands of people from the tri-state area each year to enjoy this free, open-air concert on the streets of historic downtown Peekskill," said Red House Entertainment spokesperson Abigail Adams. "This year’s Festival will be bigger and better than ever."
In partnership with the New Paramount Hudson Valley, this year’s festival includes a Main Stage outdoors, a Secondary Stage at the Paramount Hudson Valley theater, and a “Best of the Valley” series on July 26 featuring 10 local jazz and blues artists competing at 10 unique venues around town for a spot on the Main Stage, Adams said in the release.
"The Festival is about more than music and the street carnival," Adams said in the release. "It’s about showing off all that downtown Peekskill has to offer. Savor the diversity of local foods, quench your thirst with a craft beverage, peruse the unique arts and crafts of local artists and learn why Peekskill is a leading destination to live, work or visit."
