Katonah Arts Center Presents 'An Evening With The Symbolists'

KATONAH, N.Y. -- Enjoy 1900s artwork and wine at the Katonah Arts Center for its program, "An Evening with the Symbolists Magical — Spiritual Truths" from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday.

During the decades before 1900 — and into the 20th century — the Symbolists were the avant-garde, influencing not only the arts, but also the thought and spirit of the epoch.

Gustave Moreau, Odilon Redon, Gustav Klimt, Pierre Puvis de Chavannes, and Edvard Munch are just a few of the artists that will be explored during this mystical evening.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a bottle of wine and enjoy the free art presentation.
