PEEKSKILL, N.Y. The Peekskill Brewery will hold its first Hudson Hop and Harvest Festival Saturday at its new Water Street location.
The brewery has teamed up with the Hudson Valley Marketing Group to upgrade the brewerys annual birthday party into an event it hopes will draw even more people to Peekskill to highlight the Hudson Valleys local foods.
All participating restaurants will be paired with Hudson Valley farms to showcase their foods using fresh and local ingredients from the farms. These dishes will be offered alongside a variety of local craft beers, including the festivals signature beer, brewed exclusively for this event by the Peekskill Brewery.
Participants joining the Peekskill Brewery include DeCiccos Family Markets, Eastchesters Polpettina, Bob-B-Q's of Shrub Oak, Peekskills Birdsall House, Murrays of Tivoli, The Peekskill Coffee House, Sprout Creek Farm of Poughkeepsie and The Village Dog of Tarrytown. Crotons The Blue Pig will provide desserts.
New York breweries taking part in the event include Captain Lawrence Brewing Co. Newburgh Brewing Co., Keegan Ales, Bronx Brewery and more. The full participant list can be found on the festival website.
Music for the event will be supplied by 107.1 The Peak and 100.7 WHUD.
