PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Peekskill Brewery took home a high honor this weekend at the state's biggest beer festival.

The Peekskill Brewery won the Governor's Cup award for its Higher Standards Imperial India Pale Ale at the TAP New York Craft Beer and Food Festival at Hunter Mountain.

The award honors the best craft beer in New York State. A complete list of winners can be viewed on the TAP website.

Lake Placid Pub and Brewery won for Best Brewery in the Hudson Valley and Sixpoint Brewery of Brooklyn won for Best Brewery in New York State.
