ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - Motorists planning on traveling through Orangetown this week can expect some temporary delays on Thursday as contracting crews remove trees from the area.
The Rockland County Highway Department and Orangetown Police Department issued alerts cautioning that beginning at approximately 9 a.m. on Thursday, Orangetown Road will be closed at Tweed Boulevard for tree removal at house number 179.
Officials said that drivers have been advised to take alternate routes and to obey all detour signs. Delays are expected to begin at approximately 7:30 a.m. during the morning commute.
