34-Year-Old Victim Of Crash In Area Remembered As Talented Musician A popular Hudson Valley musician is being remembered by family and friends after being killed in a two-vehicle crash. Orange County resident A.J. Christie, also known as Arthur Joseph Christie III, of Pine Bush, died on Thursday, April 14, after his motorcycle collided with an SUV in the town of Crawford. The crash took place when Christie, age 34, was heading north on Drexel Drive while riding a 2004 Suzuki and for an unknown reason crossed the double-yellow line and hit a 2004 Honda CRV driven by 25-year-old Morgan McManus of Wallkill, police said. Orange County Entrepreneur Donald Knueppel Dies At 32 Donald Knueppel, an entrepreneur and longtime resident of the area, died on Thursday, Feb. 8 at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center in the Town of Hamptonburgh. He was 32. The son of Robert Knueppel Jr. and Michele Wallentine, he was born on July 8, 1985 in Jersey City. Donnie enjoyed WWE Wrestling, karaoke, dancing, sports, drawing, singing, and playing video games. He also enjoyed meeting new people, spending time with his family and friends, and was a real ladies' man. Navy Veteran Charles J. 'Corky' Kelly Of Orange County DIes At 47 Lifelong Orange County resident Charles J. ”Corky” Kelly died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh. He was 47.  The son of the late Charles E. Kelly and Kathy Rigney Kelly, he was born on July 13 in Middletown.  A veteran of the United States Navy, Corky served his country from 1988-1992. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1308, Catholic War Veterans and The Church of the Infant Saviour Church. He also gained the rank of Eagle Scout.
