The crash took place in Dutchess County around 10:40 a.m. on Monday, June 20 in the Town of Poughkeepsie at Junior's Lounge at 504 Salt Point Turnpike. A dump truck driver nearly crashed off a mountain and into the Delaware River after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a rock retaining wall. The incident took place in Orange County around 8:20 a.m., Thursday, in Sparrow Bush, said the Sparrow Bush Fire Department. The operator of a box truck was killed after he drove off the left shoulder while driving northbound on I-87, striking a post in the road's median that catapulted his vehicle off the road's right shoulder into a guide rail and caused the truck to overturn, police said. A truck driver lost control of his tractor-trailer in Rockland County, crashing off-road and striking a rock, spilling hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel, and forcing a road closure for several hours in Blauvelt. Officers from the Orangetown Police Department received a report shortly before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, when a Freightliner tractor-trailer heading west on Clausland Mountain Road went off-road, crashing onto private property. Asphalt Truck Rolls Off I-87 In Rockland
