Power Saw Causes Fire At Orangeburg Plastics Plant This story has been updated. A power saw being used to dismantle an old tractor-trailer led to a large fire of three tractor-trailers and a dumpster at Aluf Plastics on Glenshaw Street in Orangeburg. The fires were reported around 2 p.m. Tuesday as a dumpster fire spread to the tractor-trailers that contain cardboard, Orangetown Police said. The Orangeburg, Blauvelt, Tappan, Piermont and Sparkill fire departments all responded to the scene and were able to extinguish the fire.
