State Police Issue Alert For Man Wanted In Area
An alert has been issued by New York State investigators as they attempt to locate a wanted man who was busted with heroin and crack cocaine during a traffic stop in the Hudson Valley. Sullivan County resident Gary Davitt, age 52, of Youngsville, is wanted by New York State Police in Monroe on a charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after being caught with drugs during a traffic stop on Route 17 in Chester last year. Police said that at the time of the stop, Davitt was in possession of hypodermic needles, seven grams of heroin, and 11 grams of crack cocaine.…

Three Rockland Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops
New York State Police troopers removed more than three dozens drivers off the roadway over the weekend for alleged impaired driving. Area residents charged include: Orange County On Friday, Feb. 15, State Police troopers from Middletown arrested Lori Hurst, 43 of Middletown, for DWAI Drugs. She was traveling on Dolson Avenue in Middletown when she was involved in a vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by drugs and she was subsequently arrested. Several area residents were among seven busted for impaired driving New York State Police troopers over the Fourth of July holiday as law enforcement agencies continue cracking down on drunk, drugged and distracted driving.
