Pasta La Vista: Italian Restaurant Chain Shutters NY Location After 19 Years An Italian restaurant chain with locations across the country has closed several of its New York eateries. Carrabba’s Italian Grill shuttered its Albany County restaurant – located in Latham at 675 Troy Schenectady Road – on Friday, Feb. 23 after 19 years in operation. It was the company’s sole Capital Region location. The restaurant chain also closed its only Long Island locations, in Smithtown at 730 Smithtown Bypass, and in Central Islip at 20 North Research Place. Covid-19: Alert Issued For Possible Exposure At Area Restaurant Patrons who may have frequented a popular Hudson Valley restaurant may have been exposed to COVID-19, officials are cautioning. An alert was issued by the Orange County Health Department advising both employees and customers at the Outback Steakhouse at Crystal Run Crossing in Middletown last week that they could have been exposed to the virus. Officials said that anyone who was at the restaurant from 5 p.m. to closing on Sunday, Nov. 15, Monday, Nov. 16, or Tuesday, Nov. 17 are in danger and should be tested.
