Covid-19: 29 New Cases Reported At Area School District A school district in Westchester is contending with a new spike in confirmed COVID-19 cases as the region does battle with the spread of the Omicron variant of the virus. Irvington Schools Superintendent Kristopher Harrison issued an alert to the community advising that the district has reported 29 new COVID-19 cases between Thursday, Jan. 6 and Monday, Jan. 10. Covid-19: More Students, Staffer At Hudson Valley Schools Test Positive Five new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in three Westchester schools. Interim New Rochelle Schools Superintendent Alex Marrero said that two students at Henry Barnard Early Childhood Center have tested positive for the virus, as has a second student at Columbus Elementary School and a classroom aide at Columbus. Additionally, a student at Trinity Elementary School has tested positive.
