Rape Suspects: 2 Men Apprehended After Separate Investigations In Hudson Valley Two area men have been arrested for alleged rape in two separate incidents. Both men were arrested Thursday, Feb. 16 in Ulster County by the New Paltz Police and charged with first-degree rape. The first incident took place on Saturday, June 18, 2022, when the department received a report of a sexual assault in the village, said the New Paltz Police. Officers were able to locate the victim and arranged for medical assistance. 49-Year-Old Killed After Single-Vehicle Orange County Crash One person was killed and three others injured when a pickup truck slammed into a tree during a single-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Orange County around 3:30 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 12 in the town of Newburgh. Town of Newburgh Police responded to the area of Rock Cut Road and Kings Hill Road for the report of a motor vehicle accident, said Lt. Peter Talarico, of the Town of Newburgh Police. Ulster County resident Anthony Hadden, age 29, of Modena, was sentenced Friday, April 29 to 121 months behind bars after pleading guilty to possessing, distributing, receiving, and transporting child pornography, the US Attorney’s Office said. Federal prosecutors said Hadden admitted to using a group messaging app on his phone to send and receive the material.
