One Hospitalized After Stabbing At Mall In Hudson Valley A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a victim during a fight at a mall in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17, at the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall, said the Town of Poughkeepsie Police. According to police, officers responded to the mall for a report of a fight in the mall with one person stabbed. When officers arrived, they found that a man had suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries during a physical assault. Woman, 43, Killed When Car Crashes Into Tree On Route 9W A 43-year-old woman was killed in a one-car crash on Route 9W after hitting a tree, police said. Jolene E. Jollie of Milton was traveling south around 5:30 p.m. Friday, on Route 9W when her car left the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, Town of Lloyd Police Lt. James Janso said. Jollie, who was the sole occupant in the car was transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead, Janso said. Lloyd Police were assisted at the scene by Town of Marlboro Police, New York State Police, Highland Fire Department, Marlboro Fire Department and Mobil Life Ambulance.  …

Motorist Killed In Crash Involving School Bus, Car In Area One person died following a crash between a car and a Red Hook school bus, according to Hyde Park police. According to Lt. Robert Benson, the crash occurred around 8 a.m., Monday in the area of South Quaker Lane and Dana Place. Once on scene, officers found a head-on crash between the bus and the car with a possible ejection. An investigation into the crash revealed that a 2002 Honda Civic was traveling north on South Quaker Lane, and a 2015 Ford Red Hook School bus traveling south on South Quaker lane collided.
