Area Man Sentenced To Prison After Admitting To Vehicular Homicide
A Hudson Valley man was sentenced to four to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide in connection with the drunk driving death of a Hudson Valley man. Ulster County resident Abram Almahri, age 21, New Paltz, was sentenced on Thursday, April 29, after entering the guilty plea and admitting to engaging in reckless driving while having a blood alcohol content of .18 or higher and while such driving caused the death of 25-year-old Jade Randazzo, said the Ulster County District Attorney's Office.
