On Tuesday, July 14, the Ramapo Police Department received an emergency call from a woman who reported that a group of five men were fighting outside an area residence, with one brandishing a knife. Woman Charged With Falsely Reporting Shooting In Hudson Valley A woman has been arrested and is facing charges after she allegedly falsified a report of a shooting in Northern Westchester, police say. On Friday, Feb. 1 around 11:!5 p.m., New York State Police responded to Lexington Avenue in the town of Cortlandt on the report of a domestic dispute. The caller claimed that the suspect was holding her hostage and actively shooting at her.
