19: School Board, Budget Votes Delayed
School board elections and votes on district budgets have been pushed nearly two weeks due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued an executive order this week regarding the temporary suspension and modification of laws relating to the disaster emergency response to the virus. New York Will Become Early Voting State For First Time
Voting in New York will be a little easier this fall. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill into law on Thursday that will allow up to eight days of early voting before an election.
