DWI Crash: 23-Year-Old Hudson Valley Woman Nabbed After Losing Control Of Car, Police Say A 23-year-old woman was charged with driving while intoxicated and without a license after crashing her car in the region, police said. Ulster County resident Rosa M. Morales, of Lake Katrine, was charged on Thursday, Aug. 31 in the town of Esopus. According to Ulster County Sheriff's Sgt. Collin Reynolds, around 6:30 p.m. deputies responded to a one-car rollover crash on Mill Brook Drive. Hudson Valley Duo Nabbed After 500 Gallons Of Cooking Oil Stolen From Restaurant, Police Two New York men have been arrested for allegedly stealing more than 500 gallons of used cooking oil at a Connecticut restaurant. The men, both from Westchester County, were stopped in Litchfield County in Harwinton around 5:45 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 12. Woman In Crash Accused Of Heroin Possession, Evidence Tampering Police report the arrest of a Northern Westchester resident, for tampering with evidence after allegedly being caught with heroin following a vehicle crash. Brooke Tschudy, age 28, of Yorktown, was charged on Tuesday, Sept. 21 after officers were dispatched to Oakside Road.  An investigation by Yorktown Police found that Tschudy was driving while her privilege to do so was suspended for failing to answer a summons and for possession of heroin, police said. Police said they busted Tanja Strickland, 28, on charges of having the drugs, along with paraphernalia and a hypodermic needle after stopping her car just off Route 208 in Fair Lawn – an hour or so drive from her home. Rockland Man Nabbed For The Fifth Time Driving With Suspended License A Haverstraw man was nailed with driving without a license and a required alcohol interlock device after being stopped for numerous traffic violations, according to the Orangetown Police. Jonathan Reyes-Santos, 27, was arrested around 2:30 p.m. Monday after being stopped on North Highland Avenue in Nyack police said. During the stop, officers discovered that Reyes-Santos was driving without a license that had been suspended four times.
