Pearl River Girls Basketball Picks Up 23-Point Win

PEARL RIVER, N.Y. - Kelli Scanlon had a hot second and third quarter for Pearl River Wednesday afternoon, sparking the Pearl River girls basketball team to a convincing 65-41 victory over Lakeland in a girls high school basketball game played at Pearl River High School.

Scanlon had 14 in the second quarter alone, and added eight in the third quarter, as the Pirates ended the third period with a 20-point lead.

Alexa Cole had a strong game for Lakeland, and Jordan Coitino had three three-pointers for the Hornets.
