Westchester, Rockland, Bergen Executives Unite At Forum

ORANGEBURG, N.J. -- Drought response, flood mitigation, mutual aid coordination and emergency management were among the topics discussed by, among others, Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco and Rockland County Executive Ed Day at Dominican College in Orangeburg.

"The Palisades Institute’s annual County Executive Forum is a great opportunity to share our approaches and experiences with respect to economic development, social services, infrastructure, and transportation,” Tedesco said afterward.

"Discussions like these help us strengthen our regional ties and develop strategic partnerships between leaders to help get things done for all of the people we represent,” he said.

Also participating was Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus.
