FORT LEE, N.J. -- A 35-year-old Westchester County man jumped to his death Thursday from the southern walkway of the George Washington Bridge -- the sixth suicide from the span this year.

A witness reported seeing Samuel Perry of Mamaroneck go over the railing around 10:30 a.m., the Port Authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.

The New York Harbor Patrol pulledthe man from the water less than a half-hour later and brought him to the Dykman Street marina, he said.
