The victim said things got violent after he confronted one of the brothers over money he believed was stolen from the him by an employee at Emma Foods on Cliff Street, a half-block west of Bergen Boulevard across from WOW Fitness.

Alfredo Quinones, 36, then picked up a rock and bashed him in the head, Detective Capt. Martin Kahn said.

The victim was reportedly fine after being treated at Palisades Medical Center.

Alfredo posted $10,000 bail and was released, pending charges of aggravated assault and endangering an injured victim, Kahn said.

Meanwhile, 43-year-old Jose Quinones is charged with endangering an injured victim. He posted $5,000 bail and was released, the captain said.

The brothers, who live together on Park Avenue, just off 45th Street, both have Oct. 5 Municipal Court appearances scheduled.
