Orangetown Police Issue Larceny From Vehicles Advisory

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - Following a string of recent larcenies from vehicles, police in Orangetown are reminding and encouraging homeowners to lock up their vehicles overnight.

Police in Orangetown have responded to reports of several larcenies, prompting them to issue an alert to residents regarding the importance of locking up at night.

"The Orangetown Police Department would like to remind you to please lock your vehicles and to not leave any items in plain view. Also make sure all motion lights are working and if necessary leave outside lights on," police advised.  "Another security tip is that if you are going away or are away please do not indicate that on any of your posts."
