Orangetown Police Arrest Man Driving Without License

ORANGETOWN, N. Y. -- A 54-year-old New York City man is facing an unlicensed driving charge after Orangetown police stopped his car Thursday, April 14, in Tappan and discovered 22 active suspensions and revocations of his driving privileges, police said.

Edward Mallison is charged with felony first-degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a police stop on Route 303 in Tappan, police said. His car was impounded and he was released after posting $200 bail pending a May 17 court date in Orangetown Court.

On Wednesday, April 13, Orangetown police made another arrest, this time of a 29-year-old woman from Sloatsburg, for interfering in a domestic investigation on Sickles Avenue in Nyack, police said.

Angela Lahm was charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, along with the violation of disorderly conduct, police said. She screamed profanitites at officers, refused to be handcuffed, and kicked at police, authorities said.

She was released to family after posting $200 bail and is also due back in court May 17 in Orangetown, police said.
