ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Orangetown Police charged a New City man with criminal possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop on Friday, Dec. 4, officials said.

Leon Raad, 27, was pulled over on Main Street in Nyack and allegedly possessed an unidentified controlled substance, police said.

Raad was arrested, released, and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 12, 2016, police said.
