Nanny Charged With Stealing From Employer, Orangetown Police Say

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A nanny was arrested on Wednesday and accused of stealing money and gift cards from her employer in Orangetown.

According to Orangetown Police, Sara Doolan, 26, of Yonkers, was arrested in the theft of stealing $1,600 in cash, $1,050 in gift cards and various pieces of jewelry totaling more than $2,000. 

Doolan was charged with third-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal possession of stolen goods. She was arraigned in Orangetown Justice Court and released.
