Rosa Ramirez, 27, of Manhattan, who is reportedly pregnant, fatally stabbed Bonifacio Rodriguez with a kitchen knife at the River City Grille on Route 9 in Irvington on Tuesday following an argument, Irvington police said.

According to court records, Ramirez was indicted on assault charges for slashing her boyfriend's roommate last October, reported News 12.

The stabbing took place just as the restaurant was preparing for lunch Tuesday. Rodriguez, a husband, and father of two teenage girls, later died at Westchester Medical Center.

Since the incident, the restaurant has started a GoFundMe page to help Rodriguez's family cover funeral expenses. To date, $12,872 of the $25,000 requested has been raised.

Ramirez is being held on second-degree murder charges at the Westchester County jail without bail. She is due to appear in court again on Monday.
