ORANGEBURG, N.Y. — Longtime Orangeburg resident Catherine Maney died Monday, May 9. She was 97.
Maney was a member of St. Catharine's Church in Blauvelt, a graduate of St. Vincent's Nursing School and a retired school nurse teacher at Clarkstown Central School District.
She was born in New York City to Anna and Michael Cooney.
She is survived by her children James P., Regina and Brian; as well as her brother Vincent.
She was predeceased by her husband James H. in 2004; and her parents Anna and Michael Cooney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Catharine’s Church, 523 Western Highway South in Blauvelt.
