Traffic Light Out In Orangetown

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- The traffic light at the intersection of Western Highway and Blauvelt Road in Blauvelt is not working on Tuesday morning, according to the Orangetown Police.

The highway department is working to fix the problem. In the meantime, a temporary stop sign has been installed for eastbound traffic on Blauvelt Road, police said.

Motorists are asked to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.
