The Town of Orangetown Highway Department will be performing surface treatment on West Central Avenue beginning on Monday, between Route 304 to Center Street. Resurfacing is also scheduled to take place on South Serven Street, South Magnolia Street, Park Avenue, Elwin Street, Jefferson Avenue and Park Way in Pearl River.
While work is ongoing in the area, officials with the Highway Department have cautioned that detours and delays can be expected, and homeowners in the area should refrain from parking their vehicles on the roadways until resurfacing is complete.
