PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- He wasn't wearing green or tossing back a beer or two, but a young male dog found wandering Pearl River's St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday, seemed to be enjoying all of the excitement, according to Orangetown Police.
The only problem is he lost his owners during all of the fun and he doesn't have any tags or a chip to help police find his home, police said.
The reddish-brown dog, who is being cared for by the Bergen County Animal Response Team, is well-fed and well-cared for, knows basic commands, and is "very sweet," police added.
Anyone who knows the owner should contact the Orangetown Police Department at 845-359-3700 and they will get in touch with the owner.
