ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Residents can expect a day of fun and lovely fall weather to enjoy the second annual South Orangetown Day on Saturday.
The day, which celebrates the South Orangetown community, features hayrides, a petting zoo from Bell-ans Farm, exotic animals, face painting, arts and crafts, and more, said Phyllis Dodge, one of the organizers of the event."We have a proud and thriving community who wants to represent and celebrate," she said.
The event runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at Bell-Ans, 103 S. Greenbush Road. Admission is free.
Additionally, the "Restoration" exhibit will on display at Volition Gallery, and artwork sold will go to the restoration of the John Green House in Nyack.
The event is sponsored by Imagine Properties, Orange & Rockland Stop & Shop, Bell-Ans and the Center of Creative Arts.
