Blanketfest will feature rock performances for blanket donations at Hudson House in Nyack from noon to midnight. Performers include The Undead, featuring Bobby Steele; Patti Rothberg; The Rewd Onez, featuring Rew Starr; Joe D'Urso & Stone Caravan; The Tim O'Donohue Band; Johnny & The Alimonies; Kama Linden; Count of Nine; The Midnight Blackouts; Wadada; and the River Acoustic Band.
The Baghdaddios and Lower East Side Bilingual Poet, Yvonne Sotomayo will host Blanketfest. Donated blankets will be distributed to New York City's homeless beginning Christmas Eve.
Soprano Anna Veleva and pianist Yashar Yaslowitz will tell the story of Chopin's "Dream of Love" at Union Arts Center in Sparkill at 3 p.m.
The Rockland County Concert Band will perform holiday classics at the Pearl River Public Library from 3 to 4 p.m.
Candlelit tours of the Jacob Blauvelt House will showcase Dutch American holiday traditions of the 1830s with music of the era and season refreshments at 5 and 6:30 p.m. Pre-aid reservations are required.
