Christine is a returned Rockland native. She grew up in Tappan and graduated from Tappan Zee High School before attending Vassar College in Poughkeepsie. After spending her twenties in the city, she moved back to Rockland in 2009, settling in Pearl River with her husband Greg and children Joshua and Ellie. She works in Nyack.
Christine Gritmon Inc. (which was profiled in the Daily Voice in July 2016) provides social media services for small businesses in the Rockland area, including content strategy, account management, and one-on-one personal coaching sessions. Before starting her own business in May 2016, Christine worked for The Journal News, where her achievements included the much-lauded Hippest Towns contest, a promotion to community engagement editor, and a spot on Editor & Publisher Magazine’s “25 Under 35” list.
Christine supports numerous local non-profits with both her physical presence and significant personal social media reach, and is proud to serve on the board of directors for The Center for Safety & Change and Rockland Business Women’s Network. She’s also part of the Rockland Business Association’s Professional Marketing Council.
