An early morning house fire is under investigation after crews battled the blaze early on Tuesday.
Fire crews were dispatched to a Farm Lane home shortly before 2 a.m. Jan. 8, when a structure fire broke out in a house near the intersection of Route 9 in Hyde Park. Firefighters fought the blaze for several hours before eventually being cleared at approximately 8:30 a.m.
Smoke and pockets of flames could be seen billowing from the roof of the home as crews worked to knock down flames from the front of the property. It was not clear if any residents were displaced from the fire.
Officials said the cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were initially reported.
