UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. – Claire L. Harris, of Upper Saddle River, died Nov. 29.
She was born in Richmond Hill, N.Y. and lived in many places, including Haddam, Conn. and Westfield, where she met many of her lifelong friends before settling in Upper Saddle River for 33 years.
Harris was a former executive secretary for an insurance company and a devoted animal lover. Her husband, Lloyd Harris, died in 2002.
She was the beloved mother of Pamela Harris and L. Douglas Harris; and grandmother to five cherished grandchildren: Danielle, Alexandria, Tyson, Amelia and McAllister.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wycoff.
