HS Baseball Coaching Staff Reinstated After Fire Set On Field In Ridgefield Ridgefield High School baseball coach Paul Fabbri and his staff were back on the field this week after being temporarily placed on administrative leave after their home field was doused with gasoline and lit on fire in an attempt to dry it. The field at Governor Park was doused with 24 gallons of gasoline before a game against Amity on Saturday, April 6, then set on fire in an attempt to dry the playing surface after rain had fallen in the area.
