The shooting took place around 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at Tops Market on Jefferson Avenue in a predominantly Black neighborhood, Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said.  The crime is being investigated as a racially motivated hate crime and an act of terrorism.  Those killed were: Former Buffalo Police Lt.
