Police Investigating $11,000 In Checks Missing From Car In Westchester A man in Scarsdale is minus more than $10,000 in checks that went missing from the center console of his vehicle, police said. Investigators from the Scarsdale Police Department received a report from a Sherman Street resident on Oct. 9, who stated that between 10 and 15 bank checks that were written to him were missing from his 2010 Toyota. The man said that he last saw the checks at approximately 11 a.m. when he went to the UPS store in New Rochelle.
