Police: Man Accused Of Threatening To 'Cut' Tree Worker With Ax In Wilton
A man was arrested for allegedly threatening a tree trimmer with an ax while he was cutting branches from a tree in Fairfield County. Jonathan Damast, age 45, of Wilton, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 7, after Wilton Police responded to a home on Ridge Lane for a dispute, said Lieutenant Gregg Phillipson. Man Extradited From Northern Westchester To Fairfield County On Stalking Charge
A warrant was put out for the arrest of a man who allegedly harassed and contacted a woman excessively since June of 2020; after he was taken into custody by police in Northern Westchester, he was then brought to Fairfield County for arraignment and sentencing. An area college student was arrested after chasing his roommate with a knife and threatening to kill him, according to police. Josiah Diaz-Cregan, a freshman at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, was arrested Monday after Hamden Police responded to a report of threatening on campus, said Hamden PD Capt. Ronald Smith. An investigation revealed that the 18-year-old student had a verbal dispute with his roommate, Diaz-Cregan, Smith said. Police: Ridgefield Man Threatens Victim With Knife In Dispute Over Money At New Canaan Home
A 33-year-old man who allegedly threatened another person with a knife during a dispute over money has landed behind bars. Rosbel Sanchez of Ridgefield was arrested early Monday and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening after police found he had threatened the victim over money, said New Canaan Police. Arriving officers found that Sanchez and the victim had an argument over money and at some point he took a knife out of a kitchen drawer and threatened to harm the victim, police said. Ridgefield Man Nabbed After Claiming To Have Gun In Rite Aid Robbery
A self-described drug addict is facing a host of charges after allegedly threatening a Danbury pharmacist with a gun to get amphetamines. Thomas James Redmond, 22, was arrested on Sunday, July 29, Danbury Police Det. Lt. Mark Williams announced this week, following a brief investigation to an alleged robbery at Rite Aid on Mill Plain Road.
