Community Rallies To Support Family Of Late Business Owner From Westchester, Father Of Two Thousands of dollars have been raised to support the family of Frank Pallett, a Hudson Valley business owner who died last week at the age of 51. A GoFundMe created by Pallet's sister-in-law, Nicole Fejka, has raised more than $21,500 as of Monday, Aug. 16.  The goal is to raise $100,000 for Pallet's wife, Michelle, and the couple's two daughters, 7-year-old Daniella and 2-year-old Angelina. Westchester Native Frank Pallett, Owner Of Theater, Fitness Complex In Area, Dies At Age 51 An entrepreneur who owned two popular Hudson Valley businesses, has died at the age of 51. Frank Pallett died on Wednesday, Aug. 11 after a brief illness. He was the owner of The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie and Maximum Fitness in Newburgh. He also had a radio show called "Live from The Chance." Pallett was born in Yonkers. He was a graduate of John Jay High School in East Fishkill, and he later attended Dutchess Community College and Empire State College, his obituary said. Westchester's DMX Performing In Hudson Valley DMX is coming to Poughkeepsie. The Mount Vernon native who was raised in Yonkers is performing at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, Feb. 10. He previously performed at The Chance in 2016. In December, the 46-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons pleaded guilty to one count of tax evasion and faces up to five years in prison. Simmons lived near the Bedford border on McLain Street in Mount Kisco with now-estranged wife Tashera Simmons before putting the home into foreclosure in 2016 after filing for bankruptcy.
