Rollover Crash Victim From Westchester Rescued From Car, Then Nabbed For Drunk Driving: Police Several people were nabbed on drunk driving charges in the Hudson Valley over the holiday weekend, including a Westchester woman rescued from a rolled-over car and a taxi driver, police said. The arrests were announced by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, Oct. 17, and were all made over Columbus Day weekend.  The first incident happened on Friday, Oct. 11 in Putnam Valley, when a car crashed and flipped on Church Road in the area of Kramers Pond Road.  Arriving sheriff's deputies found a vehicle on its side with downed live wires nearby. Area Residents Charged With Drunk Driving In State Police Stops Nearly two dozen drivers were allegedly impaired in the Hudson Valley over the weekend when they were busted for driving while intoxicated. Local residents charged include: Westchester County On Friday, June 5, State Police from Cortlandt­­ arrested Andrew C. Pesavento, 32, of Cortlandt, NY, for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Oregon Road in the town of Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. K-9 Officer Nabs Drunk Brewster Man Who Fled Scene Of Crash A drunk Brewster man was nabbed by a Putnam County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit after leaving the scene of a crash in the Town of  Southeast, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. The crash was discovered around 12:20 a.m. Jan. 18, when Deputy Francis McDonough responded to the area of 186 Starr Ridge Road, in the Town of Southeast, on a report of a one-car motor vehicle crash, the Sheriff's Office said.
