ID Released For Boy Who Died After Falling Through Ice In Hudson Valley Authorities have released the identity of a 17-year-old boy who died after falling through the ice at a state park. Dutchess County resident Noah Thompson, of Amenia, was found about 2:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, after police responded to the Taconic State Park on Shagroy Road in the Town of North East for a report of someone who had fallen through the ice. New York City resident Christian P. Brink, of Brooklyn, was the victim of the Dutchess County crash that happened 4:15 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, in the town of Amenia, said New York State Trooper AJ Hicks. An Initial investigation found Brink was operating a 2003 Toyota Camry southbound on County Route 83 approaching State Route 44 when he allegedly failed to stop and yield right of way at the intersection stop sign, Hicks said. Dutchess County Man Killed In CT Crash A 53-year-old Dutchess County man was killed over the weekend in a motorcycle crash in Connecticut. Jon Morey, of Amenia, was killed around 6:37 p.m., Saturday, July 27, after failing to negotiate a turn on Mitchelltown Road in the town of Sharon, said the Connecticut State Police. According to a state police investigation, Morey was ejected from his motorcycle and hit a wire rope guardrail.  His passenger, Tanja Kraft, of Pine Plains, received minor injuries.
