'Our Shining Light': 26-Year-Old Westchester Native Killed In Crash Remembered
A 26-year-old Connecticut woman born and raised in New York who was killed in a single-vehicle crash is being remembered as a "beautiful, sweet soul."
New Haven County resident Jessica Anne Bulfaro, of Milford, who was born in Westchester County and lived in Putnam County, in the town of Carmel, died on Thursday, April 20 when she lost control of her silver 2021 Subaru Impreza and struck two utility poles in Newtown, said the Newtown Police.

Widow Describes Sandy Hook Husband As Her 'Champion'
Three days after the death of her husband, Jeremy Richman, his wife, Jennifer Hensel, called the Sandy Hook father her "champion," in a letter posted on a GoFundMe page.
The page, started by family and friends, following Richman's suicide on Monday to help Hensel and her two children with expenses, described him as a "dedicated father, husband, son, and friend."
The two, who have been together for 28 years, are the parents of Avielle Richman, who was killed in the Sandy Hook tragedy. The couple also had two children after Avielle's death including Imogen, 4, and Owen, 2.

Ryan Andrew Re, Lifelong Area Resident, Dies At 29
Ryan Andrew Re died on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at his home in Danbury. He was 29.
He was born in Danbury on Sept. 5, 1989. He attended local schools and graduated from Danbury High School with the Class of 2007.
Ryan was employed in pool construction at Nejame & Sons of Danbury for the past five years and was also a Marketing Consultant with Ambit Energy.
He enjoyed golf, tennis, and exhibiting his creative and artistic talents through drawings. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, and most of all, his love for his family.

Teen Driver Charged In Man’s Death On I-84
A Sandy Hook teen has been arrested in the death of a pedestrian on I-84 last May, according to the Connecticut State Police.
Michael Alan Vitti, 19, was charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle, failure to drive in the proper lane and distracted driving (not a cellphone), according to state police.
Vitti, who state police say was distracted while driving, hit and killed Gerard Mauskapf, 64, of Red Hook in Dutchess County near Exit 11.
Mauskapf was hit after pulling over his vehicle and getting out of his car on the right shoulder of the highway, state police said.
