Update: Suspect In Multi-County Chase Hit Cars, Fled Into Yorktown's FDR State Park, Police Say
Police have released more details about a Hudson Valley chase that spanned multiple counties, including that the suspect rammed police vehicles, drove through a state park, and narrowly missed pedestrians before being apprehended.
The incident unfolded in Putnam County on Wednesday, Nov. 27, beginning with a reported domestic assault on Stoneleigh Avenue in Carmel, according to the Carmel Police Department.

Man Who Drove On Sidewalk In Northern Westchester Had Suspended License, Police Say
A 39-year-old man was busted on numerous traffic violations after he allegedly drove on a sidewalk.
Abror Sharobiddinov, of Brooklyn, was arrested by Yorktown Police on Monday, Feb. 3, after he was stopped on Route 6 for having a suspended registration, said Yorktown Police.
During a registration check, police found that Sharobiddinov's driver's license was also suspended for an insurance lapse and that he had been driving on a sidewalk, police said.
He was charged with driving with a suspended license, driving with a suspended registration, and driving on a sidewalk.

Man Exposes Himself To Woman, Child At Northern Westchester Shopping Center, Police Say
A 59-year-old man was arrested for exposing himself to a woman and a child in the parking lot of a Northern Westchester shopping center.
Yorktown Police arrested Michael A. Damato, around 7:09 p.m. Sunday, after receiving a report that he exposed himself to the woman and child walking in the parking lot of the Triangle Shopping Center near the CVS, said Lt. Tom Gentner.
According to police, Damato, while parked at the shopping center, stood outside of his vehicle facing the victims with his shorts down to his knees, exposing his penis in a lewd manner.
