ID Released For Hudson Valley Woman Killed After Falling 15 Feet While Taking Picture The name of the Hudson Valley woman who died after falling 15 feet into a creek while having a picture taken has now been released. The Dutchess County resident has been identified as 42-year-old Sukanya Basu of Beacon. The incident took place around 6:40 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, at Fishkill Creek, said Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson of the Beacon Police. Beloved Cook Manager At School District In Hudson Valley Dies A retired cook manager who worked for a Hudson Valley school district for 25 years has died at the age of 68. Dutchess County resident Austine Helen Papo Dysard, of Fishkill, died at home on Saturday, Sept. 24, her obituary said. She was born in Beacon. "Austine retired from the Beacon City School District in 2016 where she was a cook manager after 25 years," her obituary reads.  According to her obituary, Dysard had a love of animals, especially Boxers, and was a "master crafter."
