Police Investigate Attempted Larcenies From Parked Cars In Westchester Police are investigating a suspicious incident that involved a man who rummaged through a parked car in the middle of the night in Scarsdale. Officers responded to a Rectory Lane residence on Sept. 6, where there was a report of an attempted larceny from a car parked in the driveway at approximately 1:30 a.m. that morning. Police said that the homeowner received an email from a neighbor who resides on Carstensen Road, who warned that she had observed a person going through her vehicle in the middle of the night.
