New Superintendent Tapped At Northern Westchester School District After a thorough search process, a Northern Westchester school district has selected a new superintendent who comes from a school system close to home.  The Hendrick Hudson School District has named Michael A. New Rankings: These Westchester Schools Among Best In State A newly released study from Niche.com determined the best school districts for 2020 by analyzing the “key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents” using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Among the statistics that came into factor the rankings include state test scores, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings, and others, which were on a weighted scale. These Westchester Schools Have State's Best Teachers, New Ranking Says Hudson Valley school districts performed well among those with the best teachers, according to a recent rating by niche.com. Scarsdale topped the list followed by Bronxville as number two and Edgemont in sixth for best school teachers in New York state.  Briarcliff was ranked in ninth place and Pleasantville in 11th.
